"Hello! My name is Judy Williams on behalf of Expert Village and today we’re talking about different ways to decorate your living room on a budget. You can see this is an 18th century chair that fits in with my décor. You’ll notice the chippendale ball and claw feet. I purchased this at an auction in a nearby rural town at a very good price. Auctions are a wonderful way to decorate on a budget and get good quality furniture. Again, this chair has a hardwood frame. It’s a very old chair and the fabric, I was very fortunate, fits right in to my décor so I’m not changing this chair. I want comfort, so what I have done is also purchased a couple of footstools. I love to combine the legs and you’ll see that this footstool has a Queen Anne leg; it’s a very heavy, sturdy stool and I have covered this footstool in a little plaid. So I’m using a lot of pattern but it’s very settled in this room. Again, I’m able to do that with the background. This fits well with this chair it makes it very comfortable. "
