" Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will show you part 3 for installing a new toilet seat. Now with these new bolts we are going to put in, we are going to go ahead and put the bolt through the hole in the toilet seat, and that is going to come out the bottom. We are going to start this nut on the bottom; and with this flange you don’t have to hold it. So as you screw it in, this little flange will hit up against it to hold itself, so then we will just have to screw it in from the top. I will go ahead and set the toilet seat on and position those holes so they line up. I am going to put one of my bolts through and start the washer on the bottom side. You want to make sure the tapered side or this kind of angled side is going up; and I will do the same for the other side, making sure that this tapered side is going up. Next we will take our screwdriver and tighten those bolts down from the top, and again, there is no need to hold them from the bottom because that little flange will hold it in. Once you’ve got it good and tight, go ahead and close down those clamps. "
