Toilet Seat Replacement Basics

" Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will show you step 2 for replacing a toilet seat. Now since we couldn’t loosen our bolts from the top, we are going to have to loosen them from the bottom. If you look underneath here, there is a nut on that bolt and we are going to go ahead and loosen that up. Remember righty tighty, lefty loosy. For this case, we are going to go ahead and use either a vice grip or pliers. Now we are going to go ahead and take our vice grip and put it on that bolt, and we are going to loosen up that bolt all the way until that nut comes off. We are going to do this for both sides. Once you get it loosened, you should be able to just spin it with your hand until it comes the rest of the way off. Lastly, remove that seat. "
