" Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will show you step 1 for replacing a toilet seat. The materials that we are going to need to replace a toilet seat include 1, a new toilet seat and 2, either a screwdriver or a pair of pliers or vice grips. We are going to use these screwdrivers or pliers or vice grips for getting those bolts off. Next you need to go ahead and find your loose toilet seat and locate the bolts toward the back. Now this toilet seat doesn’t have caps that flip up, which means they are tightened from underneath. So we are going to have to look underneath and see how to get those bolts off. "
