on 8/2/2008 Excellent video for fixing the seat with clip and screw on top. How about the seat that is just bolt and screw on bottom. How can you tighten this type?

"Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will show you how to tighten a toilet seat. In this bathroom, we have a toilet seat that is loose and what we want to do is tighten it. The first thing we need to do is find the back section of it here. Where those clips, are there will be screws. If you take a flathead screwdriver and stick that in here you can pry these back sections, and go ahead and put a screwdriver in there and tighten up those screws and then close those caps. When you are finished, go ahead and give it a test and it should be quite a bit more secure than it was before. You may need to tighten the screw on both sides or sometimes just one side might have loosened up. "
