How to Prime Walls for a Nursery

"Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we'll be priming our walls. To prime my room I will need primer, a paint tray, and paint roller, and I'm using a roller with a 3/8" nap and a paint brush to go over around the edges. When I prime I like to start out by trimming out by the ceiling, now you don't have to do a really good job, it is okay if you get a little bit on the ceiling because we're going to come back with ceiling paint. After I trimmed out I come back with a roller and we can just roll it right up to that mark where we trimmed. Now you don't want to go to light of a coat on the primer but you also don't to go to heavy where it will run. We want to make sure you have a nice consistent coverage."
