Video Transcript

"Hi, this is Jon and in this clip, we will be installing the light bulbs. Now in the directions for this fixture, it clearly states that you need an A15 bulb that's 60 watt. Now the most common type of light bulb is an A19 bulb. Now these letters and numbers refer to the size and the shape of the bulb. Now if we take a look at the two bulbs, our bulb on the left is an A19 and our bulb on the right is an A15. The A15 bulb is quite a bit more compact. It is more suitable for our type of light fixture because it is a low profile type light fixture. However both of these bulbs will fit into the same type of socket. When installing the light bulb, you want to make sure that the power is turned off because you will probably be looking directly at the fixture as you install it and just remember righty-tighty, lefty-loosey. When you tighten it, you don't want to tighten it too tight because you don't want to break the glass or you don't want to damage the socket. Go ahead and repeat the same procedure for the rest of the bulbs."
