Video Transcript

"Hi, this is Jon and in this clip, we will be testing our light. Now that our light has been properly wired and installed, we want to test it at this point to make sure that it works. The reason we test it now, rather than after we've put all of the glass shades on, is so that if we need to take it down for any reason to fix anything, it'll take less time. Once you've installed a light bulb, you can go ahead and turn your circuit back on and then go ahead and turn the light switch on. And so far, everything seems to be working properly. Now we don't necessarily need to put three light bulbs in, one should be sufficient. If one of them works, then all of them should work. And if there are any problems, make sure you shut off the electricity immediately and address those problems."
