"Hi, this is Jon and in this clip we will be counting our parts. The first thing you want to do when you purchase your light fixture is to open it up and pull out all of the pieces. Now usually your directions will have a parts list that will clearly identify all of the parts that are included in your package and that you're going to need to install your light. This particular light comes with three glass shades. Now the reason why you want to count all of your parts and take all of your parts out of the box is that in case one of these shades is broken, which is typically what will happen. You can always take it back and return it before you get the whole light fixture up and have to take it back down. This light also has the fixture itself and then also included is the mounting plate, which is located at the bottom of your screen. The mounting plate screws and the wire nuts. Now again, if you are short any pieces or any of the parts are broken, you want to make sure to return it or exchange it to the store. It is just much easier than way. Now a couple things that are not included that we're going to need are light bulbs of course, and because we're removing a in-ceiling can light, we're going to have to install a fixture box so that we can attach our fixture to it."
