Video Transcript

"Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be showing you how to make a bevel cut. First I am going to make sure there are no nails or foreign objects in my stock that I will be cutting. Next I will be checking my saw to make sure that there is nothing wrong with it and that it is in good working condition. After that I am going to go ahead and set my saw to the correct angle, correct bevel that I want to cut my stock too. I have chosen to make my cut to 30 degrees which will give me a 30 degree angled piece. I am going to make sure and stand to one side before making my cut. Just in case it kicks back, I don't want it to hit me. I am going to pull the trigger, wait for the saw to reach full speed and then make a smooth steady cut. "
