"Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about circular saw blades. On a circular saw blade there are a few things to look for. First of all is the size of the blade. This blade is a 7 1/4 inches. This size is going to have to correspond with your circular saw. You have to buy the right size of blade for your circular saw. Next is 24T which means there is 24 teeth all the way around this blade. The more teeth there are the finer the cut is going to be. A typical blade for general purpose cutting might be 18 teeth whereas this blade is 24 teeth which will give me a little bit smoother cut. Next we are going to look at where it says industrial carbide. If you buy a carbide tip blade, it is going to last a lot longer and it will give you a better cut. They do cost a little bit more money but they are worth it in the long run. Again when installing blades, you want to look for that arrow which tells you the direction of spin. That should correspond with your saw that you are putting it on. "
