"Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be showing you how to clean your jigsaw. The areas of the jigsaw that get the most dirty are located down here with the blade. This is where it is going to be cutting a lot of the wood and picking up a lot of little fine particles into your jigsaw. You can take some compressed air and blow off the majority of the sawdust but you might need to take a fine brush and clean out some of the grooves. Next you want to inspect your trigger switch. A lot of times the trigger switch will gum up and will not function properly so you want to make sure and clean out and around this trigger switch. Lastly you want to inspect your cord and if there is any type of material or debris on your cord, you want to go ahead and clean it. If you don't clean it, you are just inviting disaster. "
