Video Transcript

"Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will be talking about basic safety instructions for jig saws. First off you want to make sure that you keep your work area clean. Any type of cluttered areas and benches just invite injuries. Next you want to ensure that you have adequate lighting when using a jig saw. Next you want to make sure that your clothing is not baggy. I'm not wearing any watches or dangly jewelry. You never want to abuse the cord. The cord is the life line of your tool so don't carry your tool around by the cord and be real careful where you put the cord. Lastly just stay alert and watch what you are doing and use common sense. "
