"Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we'll be talking about more tips for buying a chalk line. The next thing we want to take a look at is the rewind speed if you are using this chalk line over a maybe 50 foot distance and you need to wheel that in our rewind lever in this one is really about an inch long, so your going to have to turn that just a ton of times for you can get that string in. Our second chalk line is just a little bit longer but our third one the rewind lever is actually almost double the size of the other two. So this one is going to rewinded in a lot faster and your going to be able to move a lot faster and your going to be able to move on a lot faster so one thing you want to take a look at is this rewind mechanism. The next thing that you want to consider is the construction of the chalk line this chalk line is made out of all plastic and if I drop that on the building it's probably going to break open. Our next one is actually made out of all metal and if I drop this one off the building it'll probably just dent it but I'll still be able to use it. Our last one here is made out of a combination of plastic metal and it has a rubber outside so that if I we're to drop that off the building the rubber will absorb some of the impact and then the plastic and metal construction will hopefully not break apart. The last thing you want to consider when buying a chalk line is the capacity our first two chalk lines have a smaller capacity that our last chalk line, it's kind of pain to have to reload the chalk all the time so to have that added capacity it really makes thing a little bit easier."
