"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I'll be going through the parts of our tool. The first part I'm going to talk about are these three holes that are located around our tool. Now what these holes will do is they will allow you to mount this unit to a wall or to whatever you're working on just to ensure that it's not going to move and that you're going to get a straight line. Next is the key pad which allows us to switch between different options whether it be metal studs, steel studs or if we just want to use the laser function. After that we have our LCD indicator. This is going to show us a visual representation of where the studs are in the wall. This little icon right here will identify if there's a life wire in the wall behind what we're trying to find our stud in. Up above here we have our lock and release button which will allow us to adjust our laser to either 0, 45 or 90 degrees. Of course our laser is coming out of the end and we have a few different levels on there to help us determine if our unit is actually level before we set that laser. On the side of our unit here this yellow button is the on button. When we're trying to find a stud we have to turn it on and this is the way to that. You press the button and hold it in and it'll turn our unit on and allow us to search for studs. Lastly on the back we have some adjustment feet, these little metal deals and what these will do is that it will allow us to adjust or level, so it's just a little bit away from the wall or just a little bit off the table and this is just going to really help get things a lot straighter and a lot more level."
