What Does a Laser Line Level & Stud Finder Tool Do?

"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I'll be answering the question, what does a laser line level stud finder tool do? The tool that we're going to focus is primarily on in this segment of video clips is a combination stud finder and laser line level. The stud finder feature on our tool will help us find the studs that are buried in the walls. Our laser line level feature will make sure that anything we're doing is level by the use of a laser. Now the nice thing about this tool is that if our studs are either wood or metal, this stud finder feature will help us find either one of these. The last feature on this tool is this little triangle right here with this LED next to it. What that'll do is if you're trying to find a stud on the wall and you move the tool over a hot electrical wire, that light will show up and tell you that there is an electrical wire beneath the wall. This is a good safety feature."
