"In this video clip, I will be talking about personal safety. First and for most, you want to make sure that you are wearing somewhat tight fitting clothes. You don’t want to wear really baggy clothes, because they can get rapped up in the router. You want to make sure that you have a pair of jeans on and a good pair of shoes as well. If you have long hair, you want to make sure to tie that back. Jewelry, you’ll want to take that off as well. Another thing that you want to watch out for is that the trigger lock isn’t pushed in when you plug the tool in. For example, right now the trigger is depressed, so if I squeeze that it’ll release that trigger lock. Typically, what I tell people, before you plug it in go ahead and squeeze the trigger once just to make sure that trigger lock isn’t on. Most importantly, you want to make sure that you’re wearing proper eye protection. When you do go to purchase safety goggles, you want to make sure that it has the Z87 rating. Anything other than this may not protect your eyes."
