Video Transcript

" Hi! This is Jon on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this video clip I’ll be taking you through part two for changing planer blades. The next step is to carefully turn the cutter head towards you until the self engaging latch is locked. Next you want to loosen and remove the screws from the gib; after that you want to remove the gib with two magnets; and lastly you want to remove the old blades. Now the blades are extremely sharp; even if you do have dull blades, the blades will be extremely sharp still, so you’re going to go ahead and remove those with the magnets also."
