"Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will be talking about preparing for drywall. Now that we've finished insulating our garage, we can go ahead and get ready for putting drywall up. You want to make sure that any inconsistencies in the wall are fixed here. This wall comes here and there's a lip to the second wall. When we put up drywall, that lip is going to show a bubble in the drywall, so we are going to have to knock this wall back a little bit or bring this wall forward a little bit. Next if you have any nails or other foreign objects on the wall that will keep the drywall from sitting flush, you need to make sure to remove those. Lastly if you are running any electrical, you need to make sure that you do that at this point because once the drywall is up, it is very, very difficult to run your electrical wires. "
