" Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip I will be discussing how we will prepare for the primer. Before we start putting our primer on we need to go through every surface on our wall and just feel it to make sure that there is no bumps or divots. In addition give it a visual inspection to see if there is any areas that might need a little patch work before we start primering. The next thing that you will want to do is take a towel and wipe off any excess dust or debris from the walls. A lot of times when you are sanding there is a lot of little fine particles that would get into the wall and just stick there and then when you primer it won't go on very well. Finally you need to make sure you have all the correct materials together. I'm going to use a 3/8 inch roller, a pan, and of course the primer."
