How to Place Salad Forks for Table Settings

"Hi. My name is Isabel Ramirez. I'm from Wesley Chapel, Florida. On behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you how to set a dining room table. Next on the table is your salad fork. The salad fork has to be placed directly to the left of the dinner fork. The salad fork also has the exact design as the dinner fork which matches the gold charger plate. The way you can tell the difference between the salad fork and the dinner fork is the dinner fork has four prongs and the salad fork has three. Not everyone uses a salad fork when enjoying their Thanksgiving dinner but because it is a special holiday, these are the days when you want to bring out your fine china and your fine silverware and put to use the salad forks that you many not use for the rest of the year. These salad forks will be placed in the beginning of a meal. And once they're finished, whenever you choose to eat your salad throughout the meal, they will be taken up and you'll be left with your dinner fork to enjoy the rest of your dinner."
