How to Install the Outside Keyless Entry Deadbolt

"Hi! This is Daniel on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we are going to be installing the outside key less entry portion of our Power Bolt 1000. Now you want to take special note that this comes in two parts. One is the actual keypad and the other one is the brass exterior. You want to just make sure that it is placed in correctly. You could put it in upside down but it wouldn't screw together. The other thing that you want to pay special attention to is the electronic part of it is simply glued onto the plastic. Do not remove it. If you pull it apart, it will not function. When you put this together, you are going to take this cable and you are going to loop it over the top of your latch. Don't put it through the bottom or it will end up binding. Simply pull it through, line it up with your 2 1/8 inch hole and now you are ready to install the deadbolt portion of the lock. "
