"Hi! This is Daniel on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, we are going to be discussing the hole saw for drilling the main hole in the door for your deadbolt and we are also going to drill the main hole. When dealing with a hole saw, this happens to be a hollow cord door so it would be really similar to if we are drilling a metal door. We want to be really careful because it will have a tendency to want to jump through when we get to that main layer. So you just want to go slow and be steady. Sometimes on a hole saw especially with a metal door you will get to a point were you start breaking through only on a portion of that hole and so you want it to go very slow and sometimes even in reverse, will help either way the little bit of metal that is left when going through it so you don't grab cause the hole saws will have a tendency to really want to grab on to the door. So with that being said lets go ahead and drill our hole. We are going to start with where the pilot hole is obviously; that would make it a little easier. As we pop through that door you will notice here we got a nice clean hole and we could see the pilot hole through the other side. We will go ahead and drill that next. Simply remove the excess wood that you have in your hole saw so it doesn't grab. You will notice that gives us a nice clean hole all the way through the door."
