" Hi there! This is Daniel on behalf of Expert Village. In this series of clips we're going to be showing you how to install a sliding glass door lock on the lower portion of the sliding glass door. Now as you'll notice, this lock is attached to the sliding glass door with 2 screws. It's a simple mechanism lock. You simply lock the sliding glass door by pressing the locking cylinder in and it extends through the stationary door locking the sliding door in place. This prevents the door from not only sliding but lifting out. Now, to unlock this door we simply take the key, insert it, turn it 90 degrees to the right, and then pull the cylinder and the locking bolt back out. This lock is very simple to install and simple to use and it secures the door in a very economical way."
