"Hi this is Jeff Naylor from Mtroniks in Mesa, Arizona for expert village. This next section's all about safety. Soldering irons get extremely hot hot enough to make molten metal out of soldering wire. This molten metal can drip and splatter so always be aware of your surroundings and always use an improved cradle for your soldering iron. Always be conscious of your surroundings never solder next to highly flammable materials and always wear safety glasses. The vapors produced in soldering are highly toxic so always solder in a well ventilated area and if necessary use an exhaust hood. electronics can become complex quite quickly remember if your not sure of what you're doing stop where you are and get a professional. Do not work with high voltage unless you're qualified to do so. Soldering can be really tricky but with a little practice you'll be doing simple repairs in no time. "
