"So one really important thing is educating your kids about 911 you want them to be able to know what to do to get help in case of somebody sick or if they see a fire or some other kind of emergency erupts. And you also want to let them know that 911 is not a toy or a game because you know you don't want them calling the police department all the time and having cops show up at your house cause nobody like that. So do you know about 911 Hannah (little girl) "yes" do you think you can show me where it is on the phone, that was very good Hannah. But in case your child is not yet familiar with the phone or 911 you could help them get acclimated you can do some roll playing scenario's your where you act out an emergency and you prompt the child with what to do. Or another tip is to make colorful little signs or stickers that you can place by the phone or just a simple one like this that says 911. And that will help remind your child that if theres ever a situation where your not there to instruct them they now what to do. "
