"Hi! I'm John and with Expert Village and we're making light switch plate covers. We have our cover that we've taken off from here. I showed you how to do that. We want to be safe. Now we want to clean it. This one is already cleaned. It didn't have any paint on it. If it has paint on it or if it has any junk on it from your house. If it's a new house, if it's an old house, if it's a new one of these. Whether you took one off in the kitchen and there's grease on it, or you went at bought a new one at Home Depot for 50 cents. Whatever it is, you want to make it clean so that the picture can fit on it. Depending on how stiff it is, depending on how floppy it is, you want to make sure that it's smooth so that when it's shiny and glossy and way that you look at it, it'll be nice and smooth. We want to be cleaning any oils on it. It won't stick as well. The best thing I think is just water and dish soap. That's fine. You can use anything else, and degrease that you need to, but you want to make it clean. "
