"Hi! I'm Arnesia Frances with Bell Nursery in Burtonville, MD for Expert Village. We are going to help you get your garden ready for the Winter. With everything else on your Winter prep to do list, don't forget to give your yard a good overall clean up. By mid-Fall, annuals are turning brown so it is time to clean out any planters or flower boxes on your property. If I'm not mistaken, we grew a potato here. Look! To make it easier wait until the trees in and around your property have shed most of their leafy growth. It is better to have 2 or 3 sessions of yard raking than have a dozen. Now, just look at all the great stuff that you've collected for your compost pile. "
