How to Install the Foam Sleeve on a Shop Vac

"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I'll be installing the foam sleeve. Now to pick up dust and dry material, we have to install a foam sleeve and a dry filter and this is going to insure proper filtration. Next we need to get into our shop vac to be able to install the foam sleeve. To do this, we're going to depress the retaining tabs on the side of the vacuum and we are going to lift that motor housing off of our tank. With the motor housing flipped over, you now access to the lid cage and this is where we are going to install that foam sleeve over. So we are going to slip that foam sleeve over on top of the cage and work its way down the cage and be kind of careful cause you don't want to tear that foam filter. You want to make sure that the foam filter goes all the way to the base."
