"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I'll be talking about grounding instructions. This tool must be grounded. If there is some type of malfunction with the tool, the grounding wire on the tool would allow the electricity to safely get away from the tool while you can shut it down. If you take a look at the plug end on the tool, you'll notice that there's a third prong that is the grounding prong. You want to make sure that you don't remove this cause again that's whats going to safe guard you against any type of electric shock. The outlet that you plug your tool into must also be a grounded outlet. If it's not, you should not be using the tool on this particular outlet. You also want to make sure that you're not using your vacuum and any type of a wet environment this could potentially cause electric shock. Lastly when you are done using your tool, make sure that you unplug it. "
