Video Transcript

"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I'll be talking about general safety. First of all you want to make sure and take a look at your users manual for your own shop vac. The one that I'm going to be using in my demonstration probably differs from the one that you have at home. You want to make sure that you never operate this unit when flammable materials or vapors are present because this is an electrical device it can potential produce a spark which can cause an explosion. Now before opening up the tank of the shop vac, you always want to make sure that it is unplugged first. Lastly, you always want to wear eye protection that is approved if for any reason they're is rock or debris that is blown across it can potentially get into your eyes and can result in serious injury. So you always want to make sure that you have a good pair of safety glasses."
