"In this video clip we'll be checking the weather stripping around the doors and windows. Another good winterization tip is to check all of the weather stripping around your doors and your windows. Here if we take a look at this one we can see a few small cracks forming in it but it is not too bad. You also want to check the thresh hole on your door to make sure that it is sealing properly and that you weather stripping is in tacked and everything looks pretty good. Another way to check for leaks is to hold a lighter up next to the edge of where your door meets, now if the flames starts to dance around that means that there is air steeping through. However, you want to be real careful not to get the flame too close to the woodwork or the door."
