Video Transcript

"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we'll be painting our trim around our windows and doors. Once we let our primer to dry we are ready to put the paint on. Now I've chosen a good exterior paint and I brought in a little sample to the store and have them do a paint match to it so this should match pretty closely to the existing paint. When painting the trim I'm going to be using a 1 1/2 inch brush with a nice tip on it and you probably have to do about two coats. But you just want to take it slow, have nice even brush strokes and get pretty good coverage. This one or two coats of exterior paint will really help seal up the house and prevent any water or moisture from getting in around the windows and doors. It's going to have that added protection during the winter."
