How to Sand Edges with a Finishing Sander

"Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about sanding edges. When sanding furniture, it is real important that you sand down the edges a little bit so that if someone bumps into it or if you hit it with something, the edge won't chip off and it will make it look bad. With a finishing sander what you want to do as you are sanding, you want to slowly tip it on its side really quickly just to kind of break that edge with the sandpaper and smooth that down just a little bit and that's about all it takes. Just a couple of seconds to curve that corner a little bit yet it still looks like a sharp corner. "
