Video Transcript

"Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about electrical safety. You may have a cutout tool that uses a cord. The one that I am going to demonstrate with has a battery pack that fits onto the end of it. If you take a look at the end of my tool, I have little prongs inside of this hole where the battery goes. Now those prongs are going to connect up with the battery. So you want to make sure that this area is kept clean and free from any debris or sawdust because that could potentially cause a fire or damage a tool or battery pack when you are operating it. Now the cutout tool is primarily used to cut holes in drywall and other materials so that we can install electrical outlets. This means that when you are cutting with your cutout tool, there is a good chance there could be live wires behind where you are cutting so you want to be extra careful. "
