" Now in the case of a dendrobium, you may have one that has leafless canes and if you want more plants, what you can do is clip off the old cane that has no leaves, cut it in about 3 or 4 inch sections, lay those sections let’s say some moistened stagnum moss, put it in a shadier, warmer area and when maybe 2 to 3 weeks you will have new plants starting on those 3 and 4 inch sections. You would have those sections sideways and at the different nodes on the plant, you would have a new plant starting. This is another way to multiply your plants. "
