"Hi! I'm Drew Finn here for Expert Village. Today we are going to talk about how to use and maintain a chainsaw. When it is time to add gas to your chainsaw, try not to run the gas completely out of the chainsaw because it is going to be more difficult to start. But when it is time to add gas, you add gas mixture and you also add bar and chain oil. The oil is just to lubricate the chain on the bar so that it runs cooler and smoother. What we do say we've just shut it off from running, we've got one area to add oil and another area to add gas. I always add my oil first. For the oil, as the gas we take it off and then we add the oil to that. Then we just add some oil like this. Okay, its right up to the top now. Once that is filled up, we close it, screw the cap back on and we move it to add the gasoline. The gasoline is right here. If you are not sure which is which, check your owners manual and it will tell you which is which. The oil is always up near the chain though and the gas is usually on the back depending on the model of the saw you have. Then we add gasoline to it. Okay. That's all full. One of them is snug. You don't have to break them off. Get them good and snug. Once it is gassed up, we are ready to go again. "
