"Hello! My name is Grady Johnson and I'm a professional painter, and today I represent expertvillage.com. Now we're going to talk a little bit about pressure washing the fascia. Now, when you're pressure washing the fascia on your house, it's a little different than doing the eaves. You're right next to the roof. If you blow this too hard next to the shingles, you'll blow off the shingles. That's no fun, especially if you have those sort of tile roof. That's going to be a real mess and really expensive to fix, so be real careful when you're up next to the roof. Start by shooting in a downward angle along the top of the fascia, get it from that angle, and then shoot it up underneath that lip that's right under the fascia lip. Okay. It goes a little something like this if you watch closely. Grab a run on your ladder, get yourself up, and get that started before you start to work. Now, once you've gotten that downward angle, then you want to go ahead and get up underneath it and get the underside as well. That's a little easier and you don't have to worry as much about the roof. Just get it up underneath that lip. Now, you just bring it on down the rest of the way in the same manner and that is how you go ahead and pressure wash the fascia on the exterior of your house."
