"Hello. My name's Grady Johnson and I'm a professional painter. Today I represent Expert Village.com. Ok, now we're ready to paint out these doors. I do the doors first because I can control them with the door handle, and that way I can grab the jams while I'm painting them and I don't have to worry about it. Now when you're painting a door the first thing to start on is the heel or the toe, depending on what side you're on. On this side it's the heel because that's the part that faces towards the living room. Now on here we're going to paint the insides of these edges first all the way around, and then we're going to even that on out, and then we're going to bring it down, cutting around the edge. Now the key to this is you want to lap that over that edge, but not really roll it over. Now cut this into this, like this, and paint that barrel when you do the jam. Just get those edges covered first, then worry about your panels. And then you even it out. It's just a matter of working the paint. Now this you might want to tape, I've just done it a long time. And again, you just want to outline it, so try to do the best you can with that. Now right there is what you call sag, pull that on out. So that's what you're looking for; little sags, little drips. Pull those out. When you get those done you have a painted door. Here's another one. So you always look back over it before you leave it, and pull those out. Well, that looks good, and this is how we paint an interior door."
