"GREG HAREM: Now that our vase is fully greened, we can do our height on our tropicals. As you noticed on the greening, I left the front opening with no greenery 'cause that's where our anthurium will go. Now with tropicals, you want to have height; that's the most important thing. So you just want to put it next to your vase, like so, and check your height. That's actually pretty good. And you probably want this to be above where the top of your greens are. Now with tropicals, since you're going into a flat surface, just keep it--the cut--flat, just give it a fresh cut, because this will be the center of your piece. Next will be the gingers and those will be at an angle, and you also want it to be below your main Heliconia. So those, you want to cut at an angle, 'cause that's the way they're going into the foam. Also there will be a little skin off like this; that's perfectly okay. Again, you just want to repeat this process with your last two gingers to make sure that they're lower than the first one. Now, the parrot Heliconia will be going on the other side of your main Heliconia. Again, you want to keep it shorter and at an angle. So let's kinda measure that. So that's about right, right about there. Again cut at an angle, whichever way you're going to insert it. Again if the piece comes off, it's perfectly okay. So next, I'll be showing you how to actually insert your tropical Heliconia and ginger."
