What you really need to do in order to feel more at home is create a comfortable personal space, a cozy corner where you are surrounded by your interests, your hobbies, anything you like to do while sitting alone.

Our home decor expert Denise Robinson will show you how to set up your cozy corner without straining your bank account. Follow her simple suggestions for choosing a comfortable chair, hanging curtains and lighting your special area of the house. She also suggests adding candles and your favorite art to make your special part of the house feel more like home.

To decorate a cozy corner in your home you are going to need to start off with a chair find yourself a good comfortable chair maybe you have somewhere in the house in the garage. Maybe someone could give you a chair or you might just want to go out and buy one. Start off with a chair then you want to add some drapery, some foliage, lots of lighting, some mood candles, books, lamps, magazines, anything that you like to enjoy while you are sitting along meditating. Maybe you like to knit this corner would be your personal corner. Maybe you don't want anybody to share with you or maybe you do. Well that is what we are going to do and lets get started."
