"Now I'm going to show you how to season your stoneware for the first time. When you receive your first stoneware and take it out of its box, you would notice that it is very light in color. After you have rinsed it with your warm water and prepare to use it for the first time, what you would do is take a spray. You just simply spray the inner surface of the stoneware for seasoning. You can either spray it or use high food such as the refrigerator brisket or bacon or another high fat foods. The more you season it the darker the stone would become. So if you notice your stone is darkening that is because it is because it is becoming more seasoned. The more seasoned your stone is the less stick surface you would have. The more non stick surface you would have so the more you use your pan your seasoning it and you would not longer would have to use any kind of spray. It would simply have a slick surface like you would have a brown surface on a non stick surface on a cooking sheet. "
