"Hi! This is Diana for expertvillage.com. I’ve taken our basic arrangement, I took it out of the spring basket that had the handle, and I transferred it into a plain lower basket because the arrangement that I’m going to make now is for a long table. I need to elongate the sides of this arrangement. First of all, I’m going to cut off some more leaves and bring them out to the sides. I also want them to be slightly hanging over the sides of the baskets not sticking straight up, but slightly over the sides. I’m going to do that on both sides so that it slightly goes out to the side. Then I have my flowers and I’m going to cut the stems a little bit longer so that they also stick out to the side. I’m going to leave the mini carnations in a large bunch and have them also stick out to the side. So you can see that our arrangement is getting longer, I’m going to fill in a little bit. Now, our shape instead of being round is a rounded at the top and goes out to the sides, and we’re going to put some more on the other side to make it look symmetrical. "
