"Hey people Don Golden back again. For Expert Village and we're working with copper pipe today. And we just finish cleaning this piece now. I want to show you how to clean the inside. We are going to use another tool. We already use the emery cloth. So, I'm going to move on to the inside of the pipe. This is what you want to use. This is a wire brush. Again available at any hardware store you can find. They come in different sizes okay, if you need this you working with half inch pipe. This is a half in brush see it fits right in there just like so. We've got one inch brushes, the bigger the pipe the bigger the brush obviously. All you need to do again you want to rough up the surface. Put it inside twist it around really good. What that does is fit prepares the inside of the copper union to receive the solder. Now, see how nice and clean that is but it also has a lot of roughness to it. That's exactly how you want it to look. Then you are going to do the same thing on this side. Until that looks nice and clean and rough. There you have it okay. We've cleaned the inside. We've got the outside now and we are almost ready to start fitting this and see what it looks like okay. When we come back were going fit and see if we have to trim or cut or doing anything else. Right back to you."
