"Hi! I'm Doug Smiddy at Smiddy's Gardening Services here on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today we are here to talk about planting your plants from seeds. Now that our plant has hardened off, we are ready to put it into the garden. Now again we put it into a peat pot and the advantage is we can plant this whole thing into the ground. Now of course you've picked a spot in your garden where it is going to get at least 8 hours of sun a day. So again we have the peat pot. It can go right in the ground. What I like to do is actually let the peat pot down. Again start it in a nice moist environment. You can just wet it just like that. It doesn't have to be pretty and this will help the peat pot to start to break down so the roots can come clear. Now we are going to dig our hole and what we are going to want to do is just make your hole about as twice as wide as the pot just to give it some breathing room. If you have that room to work with, that would be awesome. So dig my hole and you want to set it down about the same level as the soil. Look at that, I got it at the first try and put our soil back in. Of course, we are going to have a little left over, tamp it down really well and you want to cover up that peat pot too and again, those roots are going to grow right through that peat pot. Get those leaves out and that is pretty much it. Your plant is now ready in the garden and is ready to grow with thrive and you are going to love it. Have fun. "
