"Hi! I'm Doug Smiddy of Smiddy's Gardening Servicfes here on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today we are here to talk about starting your plants from seeds. Okay one very important factor to remember when you are starting seeds, not just the soil or the containers, but the sterility of the environment that you are going to plant them in. It is very very important. You can reuse the plastic pots or the APS system but you want to be sure they are nice and clean and after you rinse them off, you want to wipe them down with a 10 percent bleach solution. It is very very important. Because if you have a fungus that is held over from dirt that was there before, what is going to happen is it is going to kill everyone of your plants. That would be a shame. So take a minute, clean them up again. A 10 percent bleach solution, wipe them down well and just let them air dry from there. You can reuse these things for years. I have been using the same ones for years and years and again, have great results. "
