" Hi I'm Drew Finn here for expertvillage.com we are going to show you how to install garage door opener today this is being filmed by Black Dog Video you could visit us at blackdogvideo.biz. Now we are going to attach to the traveler some people call it trolley. First we want to do is connect a emergency release. You just run the wire through do a quick little knot on it and then you have a pole so you can disconnect it encase of emergencies or encase of lost of power. Now the top the top connector for the door goes up in here and what we have is we have a pin with a ring to go in there and the ring would lock in to the hole in the pin and keep it from falling. If you do sailing this what they use to do all the rigging for sailboats. So we just pop the pin through. Take the ring and put the wire through the little hole. Twist it around and she is locked it there that is never going to come out on you. I'm putting the lock I put the pin just like we did before. I putting lock ring right on there. Now we are going to connect the two bars. Bring them up. Line up the holes. If they do not quiet line up you could disconnect the slider and get it to a position where the holes line up perfectly. When we bolt these together again we use a bolt, a lock washer, and a nut. Lock washer so it doesn't come disconnected as before. So we are going to hold the one side and tighten it down. You got to turn this a little more because the spring and lock washers got to be taken out. So we snug them both really good and tight. Excellent so now we got the door connected to the unit we would be installing electric eyes next and pretty much installed."
