"We are going to show you how to install garage door opener today this is being filmed by Black Dog Video you could visit us at blackdogvideo.biz. Now we need to attach the brackets to the wall that is going to hold the bottom of the rail. That should be determine on if you take a level we got a high point of the door which I lifted up and braced up here. The highest part the arc where it comes where it comes up. So I put this on mark the that is leveled so all I have to do is mark up here 2 inches above where this is and I have a mark on there for that now. Now we know the vertical orientation for the bracket, we line it up and making sure that we know what side is top are marked and on this one I'm just going to mark the 3 holes. We got 4 holes rather we had 3 holes from the previous bracket it is mounted right next to it. Now if you have a open wall you want to mount like a 2x4 across here and you want to bolt it you don't want to nail it. Bolted to the vertical members. In this case when this is constructed there was a bracket put in behind the Sheetrock so what I'm going to do now is just drill out these with a pilot a smaller hole cause we are putting lag bolts in there. We are just going to screw one of these brackets to the pilot holes that we put in. now notice I didn't tighten that all the way I wanted to get all of them in before I tighten it up. Okay that bracket is in there firm, it is not going to move."
