"Hi my name is Willy. I'm from Carson's Saw Shop here in Eugene Oregon and I've bee sharpening tools here for 25 - 30 years and I'm here with Expert Village today. I have a short handled hoe that I am going to sharpen here so I'll have to change wheels and get something that cuts a little faster. Let's see here, it's just of a courser grit type wheel for cutting something on a tool, you have to be able to grind it and not take all day long. For the other wheel which was real fine. In kind of looking at this how it probably looks like I should hit it with a hammer or something. It looks like it's a little bit crooked so I might go over here to my little anvil, there it looks a little bit better now, it's quite a bit more square, true to the handle anyway. So now I'll go ahead a sharpen it. I'm kind of following the edges that are on here, depending on what people want to use it for, you can change the shape of the how by trimming it up a little different, that looks OK, it's kind of got a taper to it. I can go undress the back edge a little bit by gently taking it across, taking off the wire. Then the hoan stone to take the wire edge off. If it needed sharp corners, I could trim back into here with the cutting wheel and reshape it but that's probably good enough for what its use is."
