"This dill was planted about six months ago. It’s now at the end of it’s season- it has now dried on the vine and all of the seed pods are dry and ready to harvest. And that is the whole reason to grow dill, to harvest the seeds. Fresh dill can be used in cooking, also. We like to make pickles. We grew it for our pickle production. We just harvested about two quarts of dill seed from these plants. Medicinally, dill is an anti-spasmodic and an anti-flatulent. "
